The Washington, D.C. office was opened in 1993 in response to the growing number of federal regulatory, legislative and public policy issues that affect both domestic and foreign clients. The firm's complement in Washington that began with three lawyers in the office has grown to over 60 today. Our attorneys include former White House officials, federal regulators, and counsel from various federal government agencies and key Congressional Committees, who can provide clients with the "inside thinking" and analysis necessary to affect change in Washington. The firm is respected in official Washington for its substantive expertise and entrepreneurial approach to public policy issues affecting business and enjoys strong relations with the Congress, Administration and Washington opinion leaders outside the government. Our office is located a few short blocks from Capitol Hill and is in close proximity to federal courts, regulatory agencies and other executive branch offices.
