Stephanie Carter Leaves Troutman Sanders Strategies
Atlanta, GA – (Monday, August 31, 2009) – Troutman Sanders Strategies (TSS) announced today that Stephanie Carter will be leaving the firm to assume a new, senior role with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).
On September 1, Ms. Carter will begin serving as Special Assistant to Commissioner Vance Smith for Policy and Projects. In this capacity, she will report directly to the Commissioner and assist him in his day to day activities at GDOT.
Ms. Carter joined TSS in 2005 as an intern prior to finishing college. She subsequently received her B.S., magna cum laude, from Georgia Tech and a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Georgia.

While at TSS, Ms. Carter has managed an impressive group of clients with a focus on the telecommunication, taxation, private corrections, and transportation businesses. Her duties will be absorbed by the entire TSS team.
